Omaha, NE (3)

Today was game day.  This was the first time that we saw the inside of the University of Nebraska's Memorial Stadium, and it was a good one.  College football, there really is nothing else like it.  The marching band, the traditions, the tailgating, the fans, and the game all come together to make this perfect thing.  We were part of the 310th consecutive sellouts of Nebraska's Memorial Stadium.  It was a hard fought game, we Buckeyes thought it was going to be a little easier but the game was still in doubt deep into the fourth quarter.  Ohio State's win ultimately came about because our field goal kicker was better than theirs.  The Nebraska fans bring more excitement and noise to the game than most, and all this added up to a great time.

After the first score of a game, the Cornhusker fans (Nebraska) release red balloons into the sky above the stadium.

All is well that ends well
