Amsterdam: Train Travel

Today was just a real long day of travel.  We caught the first train in Åarhus at 9:30AM and we checked into our Amsterdam hotel at just about 11:00PM.  Thirteen and a half hours of moving.  Åarhus to Hamburg; Hamburg to Duisburg; Duisburg to Amsterdam.  None of the countries we have visited on this trip have had any kind of COVID mandates.  That ended today.  As the train crossed the German border an announcement was made that masks were required on the train.  I hadn't been carrying a mask, though I did have one in a my suitcase in the overhead bin.

This is how Sandy spent the day
