BUCKEYES EXPLORING LINCOLN, NEBRASKA

 This morning we had a lovely sunrise over Omaha (probably more over Iowa) from our room.



We caught the Buckeye bus and we headed to Lincoln where we took a tour of the city.

An example how the town has re-purposed old warehouse buildings into new restaurants and stores in the downtown area.


Here is the International Quilt Museum, built by over 200 quilt guilds.  We hear this is a phenomenal museum but our tour just took us to the outside of it.  We may visit it in the next couple of days while we are here (maybe if the game tomorrow doesn’t go well).

  Still working on Eastern time zone time (and maybe a little Portugal’s time) I found myself walking around Juneau at 4:30 in the morning. ...
