Island Hopping 2024: Giarratana, Visiting with friends from U.S.

Today’s only task was to get to the airport in Catania.  Our friends from Ohio/Florida came to visit.  The Schefflers, having just finished visiting Portugal for a week flew into Sicily today and will spend six days with us in Giarratana.  They started their day at 3:00AM so we planned nothing more than a relaxed afternoon and evening at the house.

We made our own pasta dinner, drank wine, and got caught up on their time in Portugal and what’s going on back in Lancaster.  It was good times and we look forward to the rest of their visit
