Today is another repositioning day just getting out of Tenerife and to Rabat, Morocco, where we met up with a group tour organized by “The Ohio State University” Alumni Association.
All went well. We drove our rental car to the Tenerife South Airport, we flew Royal Air Maroc from Tenerife to Casablanca Airport. I had arranged a private driver to take us from the Casablanca Airport to our hotel in Rabat, and just as we finished checking into the Rabat hotel the tour organizer walked up, introduced herself and pointed us to where the reception party was just starting. Couldn’t have gone smoother. Well there was one little hitch.
Royal Air Maroc (a little prop-jet), that's why it takes 3 hours.
Our first view of Africa
With a name like that there must be roses
The Ohio State Alumnus Crowd
At the Tenerife airport, while we were waiting for our flight, Sandy excused herself to “powder her nose”. When she returned she had a serious smile on her face. Sandy never smiles when she is in an airport. Once I quizzed her on it she explained that she had just used the “mens” restroom. I was flabbergasted. She said that the signage was confusing. I am now beyond flabbergasted. I asked her if didn’t restroom just seem different? She said “Yes, I wasn’t expecting to see the urinals”. And, that wasn’t a hint. She just said “I thought it might have been unisex, so I just went into one of the little stalls.” Upon coming out, and seeing a man in the room, she started suspecting her mistake. She just smiled at him, held her head high and walked back into the airport lobby….still smiling
Looks pretty straight forward to me
