 SANTA MONICA, CA !!!

We made it!  

After a nice night in a fantastic hotel, we had a nice FaceTime chat with Glenn and then headed for breakfast.  This hopefully will be the most expensive breakfast in our lives!  $119!  That’s California for you!

We still have a few weeks to go on this vacation but Route 66 is D…O…N…E!
Carl did a fantastic, unbelievable job of planning and we accomplished almost everything that he had spent thousands of hours outlining with all sorts of reservations a year ago when our trip to all the Celtic nations had to be canceled due to Covid.

      Thanks, Bev! We’ve had a lot of fun. California was pretty much what I expected…a lot of wackadoodles…but some very nice ones. 😊

  Still working on Eastern time zone time (and maybe a little Portugal’s time) I found myself walking around Juneau at 4:30 in the morning. ...
